DR. KRIS SMITH

Dr. Kris E. Smith is a board certified optometric physician. He has enjoyed serving Vero Beach Florida residents for over 20 years.

Dr. Smith is primary care optometrist who cares for patients in their comprehensive eye examinations, treats injuries and infections and routinely evaluates patients for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and many other eye conditions.

Dr. Smith hails from Michigan, which is where he earned his Bachelors in Chemistry at Albion College and his Doctorate of Optometry from Ferris State College. Dr. Smith has practiced in both Michigan and Florida since 1984.

He has been an associate clinical professor for Ferris State College and a clinical research investigator for numerous contact lenses companies.

Dr. Smith is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association and the local Treasure Coast Optometric Society. Dr. Smith has served on leadership panels for the Treasure Coast Optometric Society.
